WHAT KIND OF SONGS DO YOU SING?
This is a hard question to answer. We sing rounds, layer songs with 2-4 interweaving parts, energizing 'zipper' songs that allow us to personalize our time together. We sing beautiful melodies, groovy bass lines, and soaring harmonies.
And all of it is taught 100% by-ear. The best way to get a taste of the music we make together is to listen in our song library here or, even better, come out to our next event (see calendar). If you don't love it, you don't have to stay.
WHAT IF I'VE NEVER SUNG WITH OTHER PEOPLE?
Courageous shower singers to timid car hum-a-longers, experienced musicians to folks who received shame about their voice, you're welcome with us! Singing together actually helps us learn songs. We help each other to find our individual parts and then co-create a partner-ship to go places we cannot go alone. With a blend of returning singers and new folks, it's easy to jump in.
DO YOU HAVE REHEARSALS?
We are a drop-in community singing group. We have a growing body of songs that we all know. Anyone can attend any of our groups at any time. The joy of it is we're singing for and with each other, exercising our birthright to make beautiful sound together without expectations of performance or perfection.
